Don't Face The Ground

Matt 17:5-8
5While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold, (D)a voice out of the cloud said, "(E)This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased; listen to Him!"

6When the disciples heard this, they fell face down to the ground and were terrified.

7And Jesus came to them and touched them and said, "Get up, and (F)do not be afraid."

8And lifting up their eyes, they saw no one except Jesus Himself alone.

Sometimes we are like the disciples. We only see for a glimpse the holiness of God. We are sometimes in the presence of the Lord, but we hide ourselves. We put our face down and hide ourselves. After we hide ourselves, our focus is gone. We lose focus on the Lord. When we get back up, His spirit is gone. We need to stay focus on the Lord.

I know that I have hidden my face in the ground. I know that I have lost track of focusing on the Lord many times. I want to keep my eyes on His holiness. I want to feel his presence. I want to be able to see His Holy Spirit in front of me.

Father God, I thank you for your Holy Spirit. Lord, I thank you for what you have done in my life. I thank you for all the blessings you have given to me. I know I am blessed. I thank you. I pray over these words that I know you. That I can know how it is like to be in your presence. Lord, I thank you for your Holy Spirit and the power that it has to change hearts. I pray that I come into your presence and know you. I thank you for this word Lord and let it change me. I thank all these things and give you all the glory in Jesus name.
Amen.

God's Will Is Good

Matt 16:21-23
21From that time Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised up on the third day.

22Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "God forbid it, Lord! This shall never happen to You."

23But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God's interests, but man's."

Anything that is not of the will of God, is of the flesh. God wants the best for us. He knows what we should do. He has plans for us. Satan wants to drag us down so that we will not rise up to heaven.

Some of the things that we do, we must look at it and think if it is according to God's will. Sometimes the devil is a tricky person and hides things as if it were good for us, as if it would benefit us, but ask God to show truth and his will to us.

Father God, I thank you for your Loving grace that is given to us. Lord, I pray that your word not return void for me. I pray for these words that are spoken to me, that I keep it in my heart that I may know you. Let me grow from this. Let me know your good will for me, and let me know what is your will and what is of the flesh. Help me be accountable to myself through your Holy Spirit. I thank you and pray all these things in Jesus name.
Amen.

The Root Of All Evil Comes From The Heart

Matt 15:10-20
10-11
He then called the crowd together and said, "Listen, and take this to heart. It's not what you swallow that pollutes your life, but what you vomit up."

12Later his disciples came and told him, "Did you know how upset the Pharisees were when they heard what you said?"

13-14Jesus shrugged it off. "Every tree that wasn't planted by my Father in heaven will be pulled up by its roots. Forget them. They are blind men leading blind men. When a blind man leads a blind man, they both end up in the ditch."

15Peter said, "I don't get it. Put it in plain language."

16-20Jesus replied, "You, too? Are you being willfully stupid? Don't you know that anything that is swallowed works its way through the intestines and is finally defecated? But what comes out of the mouth gets its start in the heart. It's from the heart that we vomit up evil arguments, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, lies, and cussing. That's what pollutes. Eating or not eating certain foods, washing or not washing your hands—that's neither here nor there."

Jesus is saying that the room of all evil comes from our hearts. He knows our hearts. He can see what is in our hearts. The things that we do, the things that we say, it is rooted in our hearts.

I must keep my heart holy before the Lord. I need to make myself holy, and my heart holy, and whatever comes out from me will be holy.

Father God, I thank you for your word. I thank you for your Son Christ Jesus that he died on that cross for my sins. Lord, I pray that I may become Holy in Jesus name, so that I can have a clean heart. Lord, let me heart be true and clean and new rooted with evil. Lord, I pray that I may show your character to others through a clean heart. I thank you for this Lord. I pray for your strength. I give you all the glory. In Jesus name.
Amen.

God Is With You

1 Sam 10:5-7

5"Next, you'll come to Gibeah of God, where there's a Philistine garrison. As you approach the town, you'll run into a bunch of prophets coming down from the shrine, playing harps and tambourines, flutes and drums. And they'll be prophesying. 6Before you know it, the Spirit of GOD will come on you and you'll be prophesying right along with them. And you'll be transformed. You'll be a new person!

7"When these confirming signs are accomplished, you'll know that you're ready: Whatever job you're given to do, do it. God is with you!

God is the God of all things. He is the ruler of our lives. He is with us in all that we do. He will be with you through your tough times, your struggles, your loneliness. God will make you ready for your future. You can do it because God is with you.

God is always with me. His Spirit guides me everyday of the week. He is working in my life to change me, to create in my life someone who will be great for the Lord. He is always with me in whatever I do.

Father God, as I come to you I pray that I am Holy in Jesus' blood. I want to come holy to you so that I may pray and give praises, sweet praises to your Holy name. Lord, I give thanks to you, for you are Holy. Lord, I praise your name because you are awesome. You are always with me. You will never leave me nor forsake me. You will make me into a great person for the Lord. I know that you will be with me every step of the way. I thank you for that. I thank you for what you will do. I give you all the praises and glory in Jesus name.
Amen.

God's Great Future For You

1 Sam 9:19-21

19"I'm the Seer," said Samuel. "Accompany me to the shrine and eat with me. In the morning I'll tell you all about what's on your mind, and send you on your way. 20And by the way, your lost donkeys--the ones you've been hunting for the last three days--have been found, so don't worry about them. At this moment, Israel's future is in your hands."

21Saul answered, "But I'm only a Benjaminite, from the smallest of Israel's tribes, and from the most insignificant clan in the tribe at that. Why are you talking to me like this?"

Even if you feel like nothing, God can make you into something. Even if you came from an insignificant past, God can make your future a great one. God can change people. Everything is in His hands. God sees whats in your heart, and He sees what is possible, not what is impossible.

Nothing is impossible in God's name. He is the one who can make things happen. He is the one who can change any life. God is able. He is true. He has important things for my life. He is going to use me in many ways.

Father God, I thank you and give you all the praises. Lord, let me be holy as I worship and praise you. Lord, clean my heart of any sins that I may draw closer and be in your holy presence. Lord, I pray over these words of Yours that it encourages and strengthen my growth in you. I know that you have great things for my life. I know that you can do anything because you are my God. I thank you for my life, and the blessings and grace that you have given. I give all the glory to You. I pray all these things in Jesus name.
Amen.

God Over gods

1 Sam 5:1-5

1Once the Philistines had seized the Chest of God, they took it from Ebenezer to Ashdod, 2brought it into the shrine of Dagon, and placed it alongside the idol of Dagon.

3Next morning when the citizens of Ashdod got up, they were shocked to find Dagon toppled from his place, flat on his face before the Chest of GOD. They picked him up and put him back where he belonged. 4First thing the next morning they found him again, toppled and flat on his face before the Chest of GOD. Dagon's head and arms were broken off, strewn across the entrance. Only his torso was in one piece. 5(That's why even today, the priests of Dagon and visitors to the Dagon shrine in Ashdod avoid stepping on the threshold.)

God's glory is shown in this story. No other gods can come before the Lord, because God is holy. This other god is destroyed when put in front of God. Other gods and idols can't stand to be in the holy presence of God.

God's presence is holy. We need to clean ourselves and be holy when in his presence. God wants us to know that He is the one and only God. His holy presence can not stand other idols in our lives. He will destroy these idols because he can't share your life, he wants all of it. He is holy, and he can't have another idol in your life.

Father God, you are most holy and awesome. Your glory is shown everywhere. Lord, I thank you for you are the Only God there is. I thank you for your grace and mercy to me Lord. I pray that you clean my heart to be holy before you. I want to make you and only you the God of my life. Let there not be any other gods in my life. I thank you for your Spirit that I may serve you Lord. Let this rhema be with me and give me strength to live for you. In Jesus Name.
Amen.

Speak, God.

1 Sam 3:8-10

8GOD called again, "Samuel!"-the third time! Yet again Samuel got up and went to Eli, "Yes? I heard you call me. Here I am."
That's when it dawned on Eli that GOD was calling the boy. 9So Eli directed Samuel, "Go back and lie down. If the voice calls again, say, "Speak, GOD. I'm your servant, ready to listen.'" Samuel returned to his bed.

10Then GOD came and stood before him exactly as before, calling out, "Samuel! Samuel!"
Samuel answered, "Speak. I'm your servant, ready to listen."

Samuel is a boy who is starting to know the Lord. He first hears God when he is sleeping. When God calls him, he wants God to speak to his life, and he is listening.

I know that God is sometimes talking to me. I have to let Him speak to my life. I have to open up to Him and listen to what he is telling me. I need to have a relationship with the Lord so that He is able to speak to me like how He is speaking to Samuel.

Father God, I thank you for you are most Holy. Lord, I know that you are always talking to my spirit. Lord, I pray that my relationship with you lets me know you closely, so that I may hear your voice. Lord, I thank you for this connection that we have, that we can talk to one another. Lord, I pray all these things in your glory, so that You will be praised, in Jesus Name.
Amen.

Develop Yourself

Luke 16:10-11

10Jesus went on to make these comments:

If you're honest in small things,
you'll be honest in big things;

11If you're a crook in small things,
you'll be a crook in big things.

There are things that we have to do in order to have bigger responsibilities. God says here that you must be able to handle the little things before taking up the bigger things. Work on the little things and the big things will come, and you will be ready for them.

I know that the little things matter. For sports, the free throws, the bumping, it all leads to better overall playing. For responsibilities, working the little things will lead to bigger responsibilities. God wants us to develop, not to jump right in.

Father God, I thank you for this relationship that we have. Lord, I pray that you will be with me as I develop into a better relationship with you and others. Lord, I pray that you let me know you through these words and to let me grow more in you. Strengthen me as I take on the little things so that I may do that bigger things for you. Lord, I thank you and I give you all the praise and glory in Jesus name.
Amen.

Intently Listening

Luke 15:1
1By this time a lot of men and women of doubtful reputation were hanging around Jesus, listening intently.

Jesus is the answer to our problems. He is why we live. He died for our sins and He gave us a gift, a gift of life. When you speak of His words, many will listen, because the pain in their lives is drawing them to God. Many people's lives have worry, have problems, they have an interest in Jesus' words. It is our duty to share God's words with Him.

I like to think that my life is full of God's words. I know that I can have more of Him. I can never be fully full of His words. There is always more that can be done. I have to use His words and tell others about it. I know that there are people who are really interested in His words, because it is the answers to their lives.

Father God, I thank you for your words, because they are the answers. You words give life to all who listen. Lord, I pray that these words that speak to me give me strength to live my life for you. Lord, I thank you so much for being there for me, for your Holy Spirit to guide me this week. I pray this all in your Holy name.
Amen.

Take Up Your Cross

Luke 14:27
27Anyone who won't shoulder his own cross and follow behind me can't be my disciple.

Jesus says to take up your cross and to follow Him. Who better than Him to follow and be a disciple. We need to focus on God's kingdom. Jesus needs us to focus on Him.

I need to focus on God more. I know that Jesus is Lord of my life, and I have given my life for Him. I need to remember Him in my life and take up my cross to follow Him.

Father God, I thank you for your Son Christ Jesus. I thank you so much for dying on that cross for my sins. You took my cross away from me and took it for yourself. Lord, I pray that I live my life for you. I pray that I can focus more on you. Lord, give me strength to take up my cross for you, to be a disciple of Jesus. Lord, I thank you for your Spirit. I give you all the glory and let me remember this verse this week. I pray this in Jesus Name.
Amen.

Be Yourself

Luke 14:10-11
10"When you're invited to dinner, go and sit at the last place. Then when the host comes he may very well say, "Friend, come up to the front.' That will give the dinner guests something to talk about! 11What I'm saying is, If you walk around with your nose in the air, you're going to end up flat on your face. But if you're content to be simply yourself, you will become more than yourself."

When you are yourself, God will make you great. Jesus' story here is about humbling yourself. Do not be someone who you are not and to keep your boastfulness in check. He says that, if you do this, then you will find yourself blessed.

I try to be a humble person. God's promise here is that if you are humble, then you will find out great things about yourself. You will be blessed. You will get more than you expected. He says to be simply yourself, because that is who you are.

Father God, I love you with all my heart. Lord, I can not thank you enough for what you have done for me. Lord, I thank you for your grace and I thank you for letting me be humble. I know that if I humble myself, you will be pleased. Lord, I pray that the blessings will pour out from heaven. I pray that you will have your spirit with me. Lord, I thank you for what you have done. I pray that you will always give me strength to be myself. I thank you and give you all the glory in Jesus name.
Amen.

Focus Your Attention

Luke 13:24
24"Whether few or many is none of your business. Put your mind on your life with God. The way to life--to God!-is vigorous and requires your total attention. A lot of you are going to assume that you'll sit down to God's salvation banquet just because you've been hanging around the neighborhood all your lives.

This verse speaks to me about knowing God. Do I really know God? Jesus is answering, and He is saying to stay focus on the Lord, because when we are in heaven, only He will know who is who.

I want to focus on the Lord, my God. I want to have my attention on the Lord. Just because I have "been around" all my life does not mean salvation is here. I have to know the Lord, and make him first in my life.

Father God, I thank you for your Son Jesus Christ for dying for my sins. Lord, I want to know your more. I want to see you in heaven. Lord, let me know you so that I can stay focus on you. Lord, I pray that I have my attention set on you so that I may not stray away. I thank you for this prayer and I pray all these things in Jesus Name.
Amen.

Lord Over The Sabbath

Luke 13:10-16

10He was teaching in one of the meeting places on the Sabbath. 11There was a woman present, so twisted and bent over with arthritis that she couldn't even look up. She had been afflicted with this for eighteen years. 12When Jesus saw her, he called her over. "Woman, you're free!" 13He laid hands on her and suddenly she was standing straight and tall, giving glory to God.

14The meeting-place president, furious because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the congregation, "Six days have been defined as work days. Come on one of the six if you want to be healed, but not on the seventh, the Sabbath."

15But Jesus shot back, "You frauds! Each Sabbath every one of you regularly unties your cow or donkey from its stall, leads it out for water, and thinks nothing of it. 16So why isn't it all right for me to untie this daughter of Abraham and lead her from the stall where Satan has had her tied these eighteen years?"

Jesus is healing a lady on the sabbath, but the spiritual leaders there don't like that. Jesus explains the sabbath for us here. Jesus is saying to us that these rules that the sabbath holds on us is not to restrict us, but to give glory to God. God wants us to rest, but resting does not mean doing nothing. Resting on the sabbath does not mean that you have to stay home and do absolutely nothing. God wants us to do things, just not to overload on work, because there are more important matters to adhere to.

I know that God wants me to be a holy man under Him. God had created the sabbath for me, so that I might not work every day of the week. Doing God's work does not count because "working" is to support your earthly life, doing God's work is Jesus' command for us, and if He permits to lead someone to the Lord on the Sabbath, then it is God's power, power over the sabbath.

Father God, I thank you for your power, and I thank you for your Son, your Holy Son. Lord, I know that you want the best for us. You don't want us to work every single day of the week, you want us to not worry about these things because you will handle it. You want us to worry more about the Kingdom that is to come. Lord, let me be a worker for your kingdom. Lord, I pray that you change me into a man that will do your will. Holy Spirit guide me to live a life for you, Lord. I thank you for this word and I pray this in Jesus name.
Amen.

God's Gifts Is Your Responsibility

Luke 12:47-48
47"The servant who knows what his master wants and ignores it, or insolently does whatever he pleases, will be thoroughly thrashed. 48But if he does a poor job through ignorance, he'll get off with a slap on the hand. Great gifts mean great responsibilities; greater gifts, greater responsibilities!

God has given each one of us many talents and many gifts. We need to use those gifts for Him. He has not given it to us just so that we can lose it, but to use it for His kingdom. Like the Lord said, with these gifts, come great responsibilities.

The more gifts the Lord has given me, the more I am to be responsible to the Lord. He has given me many gifts, and I thank Him for each one of them. I need to use those gifts wisely. I need to make use of those gifts. I need to use those gifts for the Lord.

Father God, I thank you for your gift of life for me. Lord, I pray that you you are the one that gives me strength and that the Holy Spirit is there to guide me. Lord, I thank you for all of your gifts and I pray that I am responsible for them. Lord, I know you have given them to me and handed them over to me so that I can use and multiply your kingdom. Lord, let me use it according to your will. I thank you and give you all the glory in Jesus name.
Amen.

No Worry

Luke 12:25-28

25"Has anyone by fussing before the mirror ever gotten taller by so much as an inch? 26If fussing can't even do that, why fuss at all? 27Walk into the fields and look at the wildflowers. They don't fuss with their appearance--but have you ever seen color and design quite like it? The ten best-dressed men and women in the country look shabby alongside them. 28If God gives such attention to the wildflowers, most of them never even seen, don't you think he'll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you?

God is saying don't worry so much about the little things here. There are going to be lots of problems here and there, but you don't have to fuss about it. It will take care of itself. God will take care of it and you won't even need to bother with it. God will take care of you.

I know that God will be there for me. I know that God is there when I need Him. My little things that I stress over should be cast aside. I shouldn't need to worry so much about it. When little things happen, I can't do anything, but God will take care of it.

Father God, I thank you for what you have done. I thank you for you are Holy. I give you all of my praises and I give it as a pleasing offering to you. Lord, I know that my life is in your hands. I know that you have everything for me and that I don't have to worry so much about the little things. Let me not stress over such things. Lord, I pray that you be with me and Holy Spirit guide me. Lord, I give it all to you. Lord, I give it and leave it in your hands. I give you all the honor and glory in Jesus Name.
Amen

His Promise

Joshua 21:43-45

43And so GOD gave Israel the entire land that he had solemnly vowed to give to their ancestors. They took possession of it and made themselves at home in it. 44And GOD gave them rest on all sides, as he had also solemnly vowed to their ancestors. Not a single one of their enemies was able to stand up to them--GOD handed over all their enemies to them.

45Not one word failed from all the good words GOD spoke to the house of Israel. Everything came out right.

God had promised the people of Israel this land long ago. God's promised was never broken. His promise came true and the people of Israel had been given their land. God's promise will not be broken. His promise will follow.

There is always hope in God's promise. Whatever He says will come to pass. His promise is to have us be with Him in heaven. I believe that this promise is yet to come. Whatever God had promised, I know and in faith believe will happen.

Lord, I thank you for your promise of eternal life. Lord, I thank you and praise your Holy name. I give you all of my praise and glory. Father, let these words give me strength, that your words will always come true, that you will not let us fall, but your promise to us will always give us hope. Lord, I thank you for this promise, of Christ Jesus. I thank you Lord, and be with me as I know your promise to us this week.
Amen.

Living For God

Luke 11:24-26
24"When a corrupting spirit is expelled from someone, it drifts along through the desert looking for an oasis, some unsuspecting soul it can bedevil. When it doesn't find anyone, it says, "I'll go back to my old haunt.' 25On return, it finds the person swept and dusted, but vacant. 26It then runs out and rounds up seven other spirits dirtier than itself and they all move in, whooping it up. That person ends up far worse than if he'd never gotten cleaned up in the first place."

If someone is not with God, then he is working for the Devil. Satan wants you to not work with God, because everyone else who is not with God is with him. If nothing is changing in my life for God, then only the Devil can use me.

My sins are gone because of the Lord Jesus. Because of His love I am saved. If I don't live my life for Him, then who am I living my life for? My life is to be used by my Lord God.

Father God, I thank you for your Son Jesus Christ for dying on the cross for my sins. Only because of Him am I living. Lord, I thank you and give you my life. Lord, let me live my life for you. Lord, let me draw closer to you and not away from you. Lord, my sins are forgiven because of you, and let me not go back to it Lord. Give me strength. Give me power Holy Spirit. Lord I give it all to you. I honor and praise you in Jesus Name.
Amen.

God Power Is Given

Luke 10:17-20

17The seventy came back triumphant. "Master, even the demons danced to your tune!"

18Jesus said, "I know. I saw Satan fall, a bolt of lightning out of the sky. 19See what I've given you? Safe passage as you walk on snakes and scorpions, and protection from every assault of the Enemy. No one can put a hand on you. 20All the same, the great triumph is not in your authority over evil, but in God's authority over you and presence with you. Not what you do for God but what God does for you--that's the agenda for rejoicing."

God has given us power to do His will. He has given us the power of Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit. His power is His grace. His grace is something that we can thank Him for. Using His power that He gave us, we do what He wants. God did this for us, we are not doing this for Him.

God gave me the Holy Spirit and I want to use it for Him. His will is to let others know of his grace and mercy and His love for them. His Holy Spirit gives me strength and courage so that I may share His words and do it for Him, my God.

Father God, your name is lovely and your mercy is so great. Lord, I praise you for your Holy Spirit power that you have given to me. Lord, let me use it for your glory, for your kingdom. Lord, I give you my life so that you can use me to share to others your love. Lord, I give it to you because you are gracious. I give it all to you because you first loved me. Lord, let me know this word you gave me, so that I can remember your grace. I thank you and praise you in Jesus name.
Amen.

Interpret His Words

Luke 10:26
26He answered, "What's written in God's Law? How do you interpret it?"

Sometimes God's words are given to us, but it is not clear as to what he is trying to tell us. God's words are rhema when we read it and know it in our hearts. His words can be confusing, but with His spirit, we will know what he is truly saying.

I want to be able to know God's words. I don't want tin interpret it wrongly. I want the Holy Spirit to be with me and guide me as I read His words so that I may not interpret it in a wrong way.

Father God, I thank you for your Holy words. Lord, I pray that you let your words speak rhema to me. Let your words not confuse, but be a light that springs out in my life. Lord, I give you my time and I give you my life so do with it what you want. Lord, I pray over these words that will change me and let me grow more in you. I give you all the glory in Jesus name.
Amen.

Holding God Back

Joshua 7:10-12
10GOD said to Joshua, "Get up. Why are you groveling? 11Israel has sinned: They've broken the covenant I commanded them; they've taken forbidden plunder--stolen and then covered up the theft, squirreling it away with their own stuff. 12The People of Israel can no longer look their enemies in the eye--they themselves are plunder. I can't continue with you if you don't rid yourselves of the cursed things.

God's kingdom is Holy. When God gave these orders on what to do, he wanted everything to be Holy for his people. When some of the things that God said to do was not done, and unholy items were left in the camp, God's presence was not with them. God was not with the people when they fought because something was holding God back.

I know that there are things in my life that hold me back from having a holy relationship with the Lord Christ Jesus. Some of these things are my sins, some of these things are selfishness, time I want for my self. These are the things that I need to give up to the Lord. I need to give them up to God, and let him take control of my life.

Father God I give you my life. I give you my all. Whatever is holding me back, Lord, take it from me. whatever is holding me from having a holy relationship with you, I give to you. Lord, I pray that I have strength from the Holy Spirit that I can stay strong for you. Lord, I give all these up to you in Jesus name.
Amen.

A Great Leader

Joshua 4:14
14GOD made Joshua great that day in the sight of all Israel. They were in awe of him just as they had been in awe of Moses all his life.

As God made Joshua the leader, everyone was listening to him. God was with him. God was with Joshua and he was leading God's people into the land God had promised. Because Joshua obeyed God, God made him into a great leader, like Moses.

Joshua had listened to God and obeyed his commandments. Joshua was a good follower of God, and because of that, was a great leader among his people. God will make us into great leaders if we follow his words and listen to what He says.

Father God, I thank you for your word, your gracious words, that it would let us get closer to you, to be more Holy. Lord, I thank you for your Son Christ Jesus, that he has lead us into your words. Lord, let me follow your words and be a good leader, one that you will be proud of. Lord, I give you all the glory and I give you all the praise in Jesus name.
Amen.

Lead Straight

Joshua 1:6-7
6Strength! Courage! You are going to lead this people to inherit the land that I promised to give their ancestors. 7Give it everything you have, heart and soul. Make sure you carry out The Revelation that Moses commanded you, every bit of it. Don't get off track, either left or right, so as to make sure you get to where you're going.

Joshua is a new leader, a leader after Moses. He has some big shoes to fill, but he is with God. God gives him strength, gives him courage. God is with him. With God, Joshua will be a great leader. God lets him know to keep on the right track, and not to go astray.

I have God with me and to give me strength. He is my compass, he lets me know where to go. I need His strength so that I may not stray left or right. I want to keep on this path that he has set for me.

Father God, I thank you. I give thanks to your most High God. Lord, I give you thanks for your word of encouragement as a leader among others. I thank you for your word that I may draw strength to stay focused on You. I want to stay focused and not stray from what your path leads. Lord, let me draw closer to you in this rhema. I give thanks to you, Lord. I give you all the honor and glory in Jesus name.
Amen.

Change

Luke 8:37
37Later, a great many people from the Gerasene countryside got together and asked Jesus to leave--too much change, too fast, and they were scared. So Jesus got back in the boat and set off.

Jesus was here to help people. He cast out demons. He healed a man from this. All these miracles He did in front of people. But, some of the men there were scared of what He had done. They were scared of this change, although it was a good change. They had fear that things were not the same, that things would be different, because Jesus had come.

When you have Jesus in your life, change is going to occur. Jesus changes people away from what they were doing before, all the sins they were committing, to a new person, a person closer to God. Jesus moves our hearts and does something in our lives. He should not be feared. Change should not be feared.

Father God, I thank you for your Son Christ Jesus for changing something in my life. I thank you for your blessings that you have blessed me with, to let me come closer to you. Lord, I thank you for this word that speaks rhema to me, that lets me know that Jesus does something in my life, that Jesus changes me to draw closer to you. Lord, I thank you for what you have given me, a new life. I give you all the praises for you are Holy. Lord, let me know your word and keep it in my life as I walk this week. Keep me close so that I may know you. I thank you and give you all the glory in Jesus name.
Amen.

You Can Do It!

Deuteronomy 30:11-14
11This commandment that I'm commanding you today isn't too much for you, it's not out of your reach. 12It's not on a high mountain--you don't have to get mountaineers to climb the peak and bring it down to your level and explain it before you can live it. 13And it's not across the ocean--you don't have to send sailors out to get it, bring it back, and then explain it before you can live it. 14No. The word is right here and now--as near as the tongue in your mouth, as near as the heart in your chest. Just do it!

God has blessed us so much with many things in our lives. He loves us with because He is Love. He wants us to keep his commandments, and here, He is encouraging us to do so, because it is not impossible. Keeping His commandments is not too much for us. It is enough for us that we can do it.

God's commandments are there so that we may be Holy with Him. He has set it apart for us to follow Him. God tells us that He will not give us something that we can not do. Following His commandments is something that we can all do, enough to be Holy like our Lord.

Father God, I thank you for your blessings and for your Son for dying on that cross for my sins. Lord, there are no words enough for me to thank your Love for us. Lord, I want to be able to keep your words and to follow you where ever you go. Lord, your commandments is enough for me to do, so I pray that the Holy Spirit give me strength to do it. Lord, I want to give you all the thanks and honor. I pray for not only myself, but for the others Lord, the lost ones, that they may come to know your, your servants in church, that you have your spirit to protect them. Lord, I give you all the glory in this and let me know you more. In Jesus name.
Amen.

In This World, We Need His Grace

Deuteronomy 29:
27So GOD's anger erupted against that land and all the curses written in this book came down on it. 28GOD, furiously angry, pulled them, roots and all, out of their land and dumped them in another country, as you can see."

God's people were told not to stray away from His commandments. God told them that if they they do, then many curses and bad things will be poured out of heaven against them. God's love is there, but anger is shown.

This reminds me of how things are in this country. There are many terrible diseases, many people suffering, many people that are dying and war is everywhere. Natural disasters are destroying the land everyday. God's anger and fury can be seen in all of this, and it is justified. We the people are not pleasing God. We are not holy and righteous. His anger rages as we disobey Him.

Father God, I want to thank you for your love that you have shown us. For your Son, Christ Jesus, for dying for my sins. Lord, I see the world and I see all the destruction and the diseases and war that is happening within the country, and I pray that your love for us be shown in all of this. That your love for us will not let us lose hope that all of this world is only temporary, and that we will see you in heaven. Lord, I want to give you all the glory. Lord, I pray that this world be like the Israelites, where you have compassion for us. Lord, I want to give this prayer for the land which is lost, that we seek you, that we may know you. Lord, I give you all the glory in Jesus name.
Amen.
