How God Wants You To Do Things

Phil 1:12-14
12 I am sending him—who is my very heart—back to you. 13 I would have liked to keep him with me so that he could take your place in helping me while I am in chains for the gospel. 14 But I did not want to do anything without your consent, so that any favor you do would not seem forced but would be voluntary.

While Paul is in prison, we was speaking here of a brother named Onesimus. The rhema here is not what Paul was asking, but how he went about doing it, the method behind the action. He asked for blessings for his request, but he may be granted favor in doing this. Through this, the spirit of the people may not be divided, but will be as one.

A lot of times we have to ask ourselves not what we are doing, but is it the right way of doing things. So many times I find myself questioning my methods of how I am doing things, and I continue to seek wisdom from the Lord. I ask myself if this is not just what God wants for me, but in his plan, is it the method that He wants it done in.

Father God, I thank you so much for who you are. You are so great. You are magnificent, and glorious, and I thank you for the grace that you have given to me. I pray for your words, that you may speak into my spirit and that You may allow this to change me, Lord. I ask that you give me wisdom when i do all things, that it may be pleasing in what I do, but also in how I do it. I want to give you all the glory. I thank you again, and I pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.

The Kindness Of God

Titus 3:4-7
4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Kindness and grace something that I feel man is foreign to. It takes an outside prospective to realize that we are naturally not gracious. That is why it is so awesome that Jesus was kind and gracious to us, and the love that He has for us is so great.

I am reminded of God's love for me. He is loving in every way, wanting life for me, and giving His son, Jesus, so that grace may be in my life.

Father God, I thank you so much for this word that you have spoken into my life. I am so thankful for your grace and kindness. I appreciate all that you have done for me. I pray that I instill your love in my life, that I may show love, kindness, and grace to others. I pray for all these things, that Jesus be glorified.
Amen.
