God's Discipline

Heb 12:7-11
7Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? 8If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons. 9Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live! 10Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness. 11No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

This verse of discipline from the Lord shows the love and care that he has for his people. Sometimes it hurts to be disciplined, but later in life it shows your character and your traits to be more mature. The Lord disciplines his children through love.

Sometimes it's hard to be disciplined. You don't know why everything is wrong, you don't know what the reason is, but you know that through struggles, clarity and truth will reveal itself. For God loves us so much that Christ Jesus went through discipline on Earth, we too will go through discipline for ourselves to come out more closer to Holiness.

Father God, I thank you for your love for us. I know that your name is a name above all other names. I thank you for your discipline for me, that I may grow closer to you. Lord, I pray that I learn to persevere through tough times, and to know you more. I thank you for this rhema, and I give you all the glory in Jesus name.
Amen.

A Strong God With Plans

Isaiah 14:24-27
24 The LORD Almighty has sworn,
"Surely, as I have planned, so it will be,
and as I have purposed, so it will stand.

25 I will crush the Assyrian in my land;
on my mountains I will trample him down.
His yoke will be taken from my people,
and his burden removed from their shoulders."

26 This is the plan determined for the whole world;
this is the hand stretched out over all nations.

27 For the LORD Almighty has purposed, and who can thwart him?
His hand is stretched out, and who can turn it back?

God's glory is so awesome and He is our God. He is so powerful in my life. Here it shows how God just takes away the pressures of His people. He is an awesome God. His plans are great plans for His people. He is a strong and mighty God.

With so much stress and pressure in our lives, we can always look to God for all things. His strength is like a cain that we can lean upon. He has plans to prosper us, to strengthen us, to lift us up, and I want to claim that in faith. His plans for me is set, and who are we to change His plans.

Father God, I want to glorify your name. I want to worship and praise your name on high. Lord, I thank you for your plans for me, plans that will take all my worries and lift them up to you. Lord, I thank you for all these things. I want to claim all these things in Jesus name. Lord, I thank you and I want to praise you. He is the God that was take any enemies, even pressures in life, to life it from us. Thank you my Lord, I give you all the praise and glory in Jesus name.
Amen.

The Holy Spirit Speaks

Heb 3:7-11
7So, as the Holy Spirit says:
"Today, if you hear his voice,
8do not harden your hearts
as you did in the rebellion,
during the time of testing in the desert,
9where your fathers tested and tried me
and for forty years saw what I did.
10That is why I was angry with that generation,
and I said, 'Their hearts are always going astray,
and they have not known my ways.'
11So I declared on oath in my anger,
'They shall never enter my rest.' "[a]
12
See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.

The Holy Spirit is sometimes like a small voice that is calling on you. If your heart is not close to the Lord, then it would be harder to hear from His Spirit. If we rebel against the Lord, then this Holy Spirit voice will not be heard, therefore, we must keep our hearts close to the Lord, so that we can hear His voice.

As the Holy Spirit talks to me, I want to hear more of His voice. I want to be able to keep close to My Lord. My heart must be close to God in order to hear His voice. I want to draw closer to the Lord so that I may be able to know Him more.

Father God, I thank you for this word of redemption. Lord, I pray in all my sins that your blood will cover them and that my sins be forgiven in the name of Christ Jesus. Lord, I thank you for your word that all can draw close to you. Lord, I pray that the I be able to hear more of your Holy Spirit and that I may draw closer to you. I thank you and give you all the glory in Jesus name.
Amen.
