Titus 2:6-8
6 Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded, 7 in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility,8 sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you.
Wow, when reading through these words, it brings me such awe to a person who would be described as something like this, but that is what God has in store for us. He is speaking these things into our lives. He wants us to be a pattern of good works, he wants no opponent of ours to be able to speak evil of us. And, He is lifting us up to be these things.
I know that through Christ, I can be one who He has called me to be. I can achieve the integrity and be beyond reproach because He is with me, and all these things can be done through Christ Jesus.
Father God, I pray for these words that you have spoken and given to me. I pray over them, that I may act in according to Your words. I don't want my own actions be driven by my human emotions, but I pray that Your words lead me to be pure, and holy, and a man of God. I give you all these things, I by Your blood, allow me to follow through. Give me the strength Holy Spirit. I pray this in Jesus mighty name.
Amen.

The Words Out Of Our Mouths
Titus 1 :10-11
10 For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, 11 whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain.
The mouth is a very powerful part of ourselves. The tongue that speaks things speak into the lives of those around us, leading, guiding, influencing. This can be used for both uplifting, and deceiving. It is more common to use the tongue and our mouths with the things we say to mislead, to cut down, to deceive, to bring negative outcomes, but that is not what we are called to do.
I need to commit myself to uplifting others, to encourage others, to guide in the way of Jesus, to bring His words to those without, and to speak the truth of the Lord through myself. I need to commit my words as those that are from the Lord.
Father God, I thank you so much for who you are and all that you have blessed me with. I pray that I be cognitive of the things that I say, that it be uplifting to your kingdom. Let the words that I speak be spoken in truth of who You are. I give you all the glory with the words that should and will come out of myself. Keep my spirit clean, pure, and holy, because what comes out of my mouth spawns from within. I pray this that You may be exalted high. In Jesus mighty name.
Amen.

Be Ready For Your Purpose
2 Tim 4:2-5
2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
God is charging us with instructions and encouragement to go and be bold and to fulfill the commission that was given to us.
He advises to be ready, prepared, and to look out for those against, but to speak truth to those without. I desire to have a purpose, God's purpose, in my life, and I pray that I may be ready and able to fulfill the commission that was given.
Father, I give thanks to your name. It is great and you deserve all the glory and honor and praise, to be lifted higher and higher. You have given us a purpose, and I pray for that purpose, not just the general purpose, but my individual purpose, that I may fight towards that goal. I know that it will be tough, to be bold, to change and speak the truth, but I know that you are with me, that Your Holy Spirit gives me strength and boldness. I thank you so much Lord. I give you and look to You for guidance. I give you praise in Jesus mighty name.
Amen.

The Perfect Word Of God
2 Tim 3:16-17
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
God's words is complete. It is the inspired word of God, fully and complete, not without any holes, but whole, so that it may instruct, guide, and correct our very ways.
This is a declaration of the truth of God's words, written by His inspiration, and given to us to live out. These passages really stress the importance of His words, the authenticity and perfection that is His words, and the practicality of His words. I need to live, breath, and consume His words so that it may be instilled in my Spirit.
Father God, I thank you so much for Your perfect word that You have given to us. I pray over it, that its truth and complete truth may be instilled into my Spirit. Help me read it and reveal into my life through you magnificent words. I pray this that I may draw closer to You, and that You may be revealed in my life. I ask that Your words continue to correct, instruct, and guide me in my life. I give you all the glory and honor in Jesus mighty name.
Amen.

God's Words Unchained
2 Tim 2:8-10
8 Remember that Jesus Christ, of the seed of David, was raised from the dead according to my gospel, 9 for which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, even to the point of chains; but the word of God is not chained. 10 Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
I realize the power of God's words. Nothing in this place can stop the word of God from spreading, to be chained down, to be shut up.
It is my hope to take the word of God so that others may have Salvation through Christ Jesus. His words are not chained down, and we are not chained down as well. It is through this faith in God that I am able to share His words.
Father God, I thank you for your magnificence, your glory, your power, and your words. I speak your truth over the words you have given to me, and that you may let it overflow. I pray over the words that You have given, that I may take it outside, and share it. Let your words be so genuine, so truthful, so gracious. I thank you for your words. I bless it, and let it speak into the hearts of those that hear. I give you all the thanks and glory, and I pray this in Jesus mighty name.
Amen.
