Fath And Obedient To The Lord

Exodus 3:10-14
10 So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.”

11 But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?”

12 And God said, “I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain.”

13 Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?”

14 God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’"

In many ways we see Moses as one of the closest to God, but even through his times, he struggled with discipline and obeying the Lord. In this passage, when he first encounters the Lord, he questions Him, and tries to give excuse to the Lord's plans.

In many ways, we are like Moses, because we question Him and we try to get out of what He wants for us. I hope that my trust and my faith in God doesn't allow me to do this, but that I may put my whole faith in Him, that He has great plans for me and that I may be obedient to Him.

Father God, I give you thanks. I give you praise because you deserve it. Lord, I pray that You be glorified and that everyone may know that You are Lord. I put my faith in You and to be obedient to the plans you have for me. Give me strength, Holy Spirit, and guide me to be do what You want for my life. You have been with me for so long and I thank you for the favors and blessings you have for me. Continue to do a work in me. I need You, Lord. I give you all the glory in Jesus name.
Amen.
