Saving The Lost Generation For Christ

Acts 2:37-40
37When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?"

38Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call."

40With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, "Save yourselves from this corrupt generation."

The world is full of sin. There are so many things in life that will cause us to lose sight of the Lord. A sinful world is a dangerous place to be part of.

We need to save ourselves from corruption. We need to hold ourselves apart in Christ Jesus. We are in the world, but not of it. We are saved by the grace of God.

Father, Lord I thank you for your grace and mercy. I thank you for a life so blessed by your grace. I pray for this generations. A generation that is of the world, but Lord, I see that your people is rising. I can see a generation that is saved through your grace. Allow your Spirit to continue to work in this generation, that we be a people that seeks you. Let sin not have a stronghold on the generation, and that your Holy Spirit open the hearts of those people, so that they may know you. Let us be salts of the earth, light to the dark, to a corrupted generation, to turn them around, to be shakers and movers for your glory. I pray this all to glorify your name.
Amen.
