Words To Examine

11Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. Acts 17:11

Paul is a great speaker, but everything should be according to the word of the Lord. Be sure that whatever is taught in taught accordance to what Jesus has said. Do this by reading and examining the Scriptures everyday so that you would know his word.

I want to keep reading and aquiring a closer relationship with God by reading his words. I want to read his words everyday so that I may know Him. I want to keep his words close and gain knowledge from it. I also want it to move me, show me things about the Lord that lifts me up and draw closer to Him.

Lord I pray that you give me strength. Give me strength so that I may do your will and that I may always seek after you. Holy Spirit give me guidance to walk a Holy path. To do this, I need to always read your word and live by it. Lord, thank you for your patience and power in me. I pray this in Jesus name.
