Lost Sheep

Jer 23:1-4
1 “Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of my pasture!” declares the LORD. 2 Therefore this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says to the shepherds who tend my people: “Because you have scattered my flock and driven them away and have not bestowed care on them, I will bestow punishment on you for the evil you have done,” declares the LORD. 3 “I myself will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and will bring them back to their pasture, where they will be fruitful and increase in number. 4 I will place shepherds over them who will tend them, and they will no longer be afraid or terrified, nor will any be missing,” declares the LORD.

There are so many "lost sheep" that God wants to bring back to Him. Sometimes, there are people who lead the sheep away, but God is calling us to be shepherds that will lead His sheep back to Him, where there will be fruitful and increase in number.

God has great plans for me, that I know. I want to walk in His ways, and let Him lead me. In obedience, I want to lead sheep, or people, back to know the Lord, so that they may realize who He is in their lives.

Father God, I pray for Your people, I pray for the lost, the hungry, the widowed, the people that don't know who You are. I ask for You to bless them, and lift them up. Let them know who You are in their lives. I pray that You may use me to speak truth into these lives. Allow me to be a light to those in darkness. Allow great things to be done through me by Your hand. Lord, let Your name be glorified and lifted High. I give You all the praise in Jesus name.
Amen.
