Overflowing Blessings

Deu 24:19-22
19 When you are harvesting in your field and you overlook a sheaf, do not go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, so that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands. 20 When you beat the olives from your trees, do not go over the branches a second time. Leave what remains for the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow. 21 When you harvest the grapes in your vineyard, do not go over the vines again. Leave what remains for the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow. 22 Remember that you were slaves in Egypt. That is why I command you to do this.

The Lord God speaks of these laws that were given to the Israelites back in the Old Testament days. He instructs the owner to not go back to get every single harvest, but to let it be, so that those that do not have may take what they need.

God is speaking to me and my spirit of providence. God provides those that are in need, but he also provides us that have been blessed with the things that we have, that we need and want. We are to be content with the blessings that the Lord gives. I am to be happy because the Lord provides everything in my life.

Father God, I am so thankful for everything that has overflowed in blessings in my life. I pray this in a spirit of thanksgiving, that I may give you ultimate praise. I know that I have been so blessed by You, and I thank you so much. Speak into my life your provision, and allow me to be content with the needs that You have fulfilled. I give you the highest praise for the overflowing blessings in my life. I thank my God, my Provider. In Jesus mighty name.
Amen.
