Lead The Laborers To Sow Good Seeds

Jer 12:10-11
10 Many shepherds will ruin my vineyard
and trample down my field;
they will turn my pleasant field
into a desolate wasteland.

11 It will be made a wasteland,
parched and desolate before me;
the whole land will be laid waste
because there is no one who cares.

The Lord speaks of workers of the field, shepherds that take care of the things. These shepherds need to care for that which they take care. There are few workers, but much to take care of.

The Lord speaks to me through this passage about laborers, authentic laborers that care for the work of God's harvest. We are those shepherds, we are the laborers, and we need to care for our harvest, God's harvest.

Father, God of this Universe, I thank you so much for what you have given to me. I pray for the harvest that you have set before me. I pray for those people who do not know You. Let my heart have compassion over them like You had. Let me care for them and sow the seeds that need to be planted. Lead me in Your works. Holy Spirit guide me in caring for people. I pray for Your heart to lead. I give You all the glory in Jesus name.
Amen.

Praying Against A Hardened Heart

Jer 11:18-20
18 Because the LORD revealed their plot to me, I knew it, for at that time he showed me what they were doing. 19 I had been like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter; I did not realize that they had plotted against me, saying,
"Let us destroy the tree and its fruit;
let us cut him off from the land of the living,
that his name be remembered no more."

20 But, O LORD Almighty, you who judge righteously
and test the heart and mind,
let me see your vengeance upon them,
for to you I have committed my cause.

Sometimes the heart of the people get so hard that they go against the Lord. They want to be cut off from Him, not wanting to do anything with Him.

I know people who are like this, but I pray for them. I pray that they not harden their hearts against the Lord, but for an open heart to have Jesus speak into their lives. I also pray that my own heart not be turned from Him, but that I be protected against the enemy.

Father God, I thank you for all that You have blessed me with. I know that I am a sinner, but I thank you for Your Son, Christ Jesus, for saving me. I receive it, and I pray against my old self, but to continue living a life new in the Lord. I pray this also, for those who have a hard heart against You. I pray that You soften their hearts, I pray that I may be a light into their lives, and that I may pray that they come to know You. I give You all the glory in Jesus name.
Amen.

Lord, Lead Me

Jer 10:23-24
23 I know, O LORD, that a man's life is not his own;
it is not for man to direct his steps.

24 Correct me, LORD, but only with justice—
not in your anger,
lest you reduce me to nothing.

There is none more wise than the God of this Universe. He is the creator of the heavens and the earth. Let Him be my shepherd.

Direct and correct. This is what I need in my life. I need God to direct my path, and to correct me as I am misled.

Father God, I pray for your direction. I pray for your guidance. I need You to direct my path and to lead me so that I may not misstep. Lord, allow me to be in Your covering, because the most dangerous place for a follower of Christ to be is outside of Your covering. I pray for Your will upon my life. I give it to you in commitment. Be gloried in Jesus name.
Amen.
