Acts 28:30-31
30For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him. 31Boldly and without hindrance he preached the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ.
Paul had finally arrived in Rome, where he stayed for about two years waiting trial. During this time, he was in his little house preaching the Lord Jesus Christ.
At the end of this trail that Paul is going through, He is still trusting in the Lord and boldly speaking about His good news. Paul was able to persevere through all through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Father, You are my God. I love you and You love me way more. You died for me on the Cross, so that I may live. You give me abundant life, so that I may be blessed. You gave me a full life, so that I am provided. Even through my trails, you have been there for me. I thank you. My hope is to see the end, to run the good race, to continue to be bold and to preach Your words, as the Holy Spirit enables me. I want to give you all the glory in Jesus name.

Thanking God For What He Will Do
Acts 27:33-36
33Just before dawn Paul urged them all to eat. "For the last fourteen days," he said, "you have been in constant suspense and have gone without food—you haven't eaten anything. 34Now I urge you to take some food. You need it to survive. Not one of you will lose a single hair from his head." 35After he said this, he took some bread and gave thanks to God in front of them all. Then he broke it and began to eat. 36They were all encouraged and ate some food themselves.
Here, Paul is giving thanks to God for what He is going to do. Even before God rescues them, Paul is thanking Him.
This just shows the amount of faith that Paul has. Thanksgiving is coming up and we always give thanks for what we currently have or have had, but not many times, we give thanks for what God is going to do in our lives.
Father God, I want to thank you for the blessings that you have given to me, but I want to also thank you for what you have set in my life. You have plans to prosper me and not to harm me, plans for hope and a future. I thank you for that. I want to give you all of my thanks, because you are with me. I thank you so much in Jesus mighty name.
Amen.

Crazy Talk
Acts 26:2-26
25 But he said, “I am not mad, most noble Festus, but speak the words of truth and reason. 26 For the king, before whom I also speak freely, knows these things; for I am convinced that none of these things escapes his attention, since this thing was not done in a corner.
Paul is testifying to the court. The Governor Festus thinks that Paul's testimony is crazy.
Sometimes, to the world who does not know Jesus, some thins may sound crazy to them, but to those that know the power of the Cross, His words bring us closer to a relationship with Jesus.
Father God, I pray for your words. I pray for an anointing over your words that they may not return void, but that anything that we do, that we may be a witness to you. Allow those that don't see your grace, let their hearts be open to what you are doing. I pray for your Holy Spirit to change hearts and change lives. I pray this in Jesus mighty name.
Amen.

Tired Of Waiting
Acts 25:10-11
10-11Paul answered, "I'm standing at this moment before Caesar's bar of justice, where I have a perfect right to stand. And I'm going to keep standing here. I've done nothing wrong to the Jews, and you know it as well as I do. If I've committed a crime and deserve death, name the day. I can face it. But if there's nothing to their accusations—and you know there isn't—nobody can force me to go along with their nonsense. We've fooled around here long enough. I appeal to Caesar."
Paul has been in prison going through multiple trials and waiting his judgment for more than two years. Imagine being Paul, whose whole life is devoted to sharing the gospel, to be cooped up for more than two years. He wants to get out there and do his job.
Sometimes, i can relate to Paul here, not to say that I've been in prison waiting for judgment, but to know that my job is to share the gospel, but to be hindered in your situation. His situation is his jail, my situation is my new environment where God has placed to me to start fresh. Sometimes it is frustrating and want to go out there and be effective, but God is guiding me through my trails.
Father God, I pray for patients, and I pray for your strength through my trials. I know that you have set plans to use me, and I pray that I may be used effectively for You. I pray for your harvest, for open hearts, and for great things to come to Seattle. I give you all the glory in Jesus mighty name.

Long Trials
Acts 24:24-27
24Several days later Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was a Jewess. He sent for Paul and listened to him as he spoke about faith in Christ Jesus. 25As Paul discoursed on righteousness, self-control and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and said, "That's enough for now! You may leave. When I find it convenient, I will send for you." 26At the same time he was hoping that Paul would offer him a bribe, so he sent for him frequently and talked with him.
27When two years had passed, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus, but because Felix wanted to grant a favor to the Jews, he left Paul in prison.
Paul was stuck in prison for more than two years. He spoke and testified with the Governor many times, yet he was still kept in prison during those times.
Sometimes, trails can last for a long time. Paul was in prison for two years, and some of our trials last for years. Some people stay sick for decades, some people suffer from abuse for years, some people go through a season of hardship, but throughout the times, Jesus is with us. He is there to give us strength and to encourage us to press on.
Father God, I pray for your anointing. I pray for strength from You. I know that my trails will be long, and that there are hard times to come, but I pray for your strength to encourage me to continue on. I thank you for your comfort. You are my peace and joy. I pray this to glorify your great name.
